What does The Shave Lube add to a shave?

Use The Shave Lube for a wet shave with a razor. The Eraser works as a separate step on clean, dry skin free of lotion, soap or oil.
What if the glide dries during a shave?*
Re-wet the area and add more Shave Lube before continuing. Use a light stroke, and if the blade starts dragging, rinse the head and check whether it needs replacing.*
